On Tuesday 16th January, we had a company called Roots to Food come in and transform our hall into a giant working kitchen! We learnt how to cook a healthy meal from scratch and the nutritional values of the ingredients. KS2 made Oriental Honey and Orange Meatballs with Choi Mein Noodles and Sweet and Sour Sauce (see the recipe above)
KS1 made a Stromboli from scratch! Each meal was delicious and we had a wonderful day whilst learning about new foods!
