Purple Pinkie Day - 21st February 2012

The Rotary Club of Corringham Thameside came into School today to explain about their project to eradicate Polio from

the world. We held a non uniform day which raised over £120 which will fund 240 vaccinations against Polio. 

Bulphan Bullets - home game 3rd February 2012

The Mayor, Mr Curtis, came along to Bulphan Recreation Ground on 3rd February to

officially open the school's home football ground.

North Ockendon Bell Ringers

We were very pleased to welcome the North Ockendon Bell Ringers to school on

Monday 26th September. The children sat spellbound listening to the music the favourite

being 'Puff the Magic Dragon'.

Thurrock in Bloom 2011

The School's Gardening Club entered the 'Thurrock in Bloom' competition this year

and Katie, Simran and Amritt accompanied Mrs Robertson to the Presentation

Ceremony, at the Thameside Theatre. We were awarded a bronze award in the

'Best School Wildlife Garden' category and a silver award in the 'Environmental Garden' category.

Education Wildlife Day - 19th Sept 2011

Bulphan in Bloom organised our second Educational Wildlife Day on Saturday 19th September. A big thank

you to Amie who brought along a selection of reptiles and her ferret and gave a talk about them.

Karen from Laindon Conservation Centre then talked to the children about 'Living Landscapes' and

they then made at insect house to take home.

KS2 Sleepover - Friday 1st April

All of the children in KS2 were invited to a sleepover at the school and great fun was had by all,

but not much sleep!
